I tell my classes that I worked in women's clothing for five years!
I was a(n) Store Manager/Assistant District Manager Outlet Specialty Stores, Richmond, VA (initial position Stock Clerk)
I worked an average of 20 hours/week during my last two years of high school and full-time subsequently for a women's specialty clothing store named Phillipsborn in Northern Virginia. When Phillipsborn's parent company acquired Flair for Fashion in Richmond and I graduated from high school, I applied to admission to VCU and transferred to be Assistant District Manager and managed the store at Southside Plaza. (Incidentally, Jim Akin and I are not related - the photo was my attempt at fashion - I gave it up after I figured out that I had to sit in "the chair" every six weeks to keep the hairstyle.)
