Bass Technology

Note: these web pages were developed by a class of students in my BUS 491 Independent Study class during the Summer of 1996. They were developed in conjunction with the staff of Richmond's Landmark Theater and in particular Milo Hunter and Audrey Booth. The attempt was to see what type of functionality mght be used by the Theater if they decided to develop a presence on the world wide web. However, this page does not represent an official Richmond Landmark Theater web page or any official statement by the City of Richmond.

Directions to Richmond's Landmark Theater

Arriving by I-64 West-coming from Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, etc.:

  1. Take Exit #190 for 5th Street and Downtown/Coliseum
  2. Turn right at the 7th traffic light onto Broad Street
  3. Drive 11 blocks and turn left onto Belvidere Street (U.S. #1 & #301)
  4. Drive 3 blocks and turn right onto Main Street
  5. Drive 2 blocks and turn left onto Laurel Street and entrance to VCU Parking Deck

Arriving by I-95 South-coming from Washington, Fredericksburg, etc.:

  1. Take Exit #76B for Belvidere Street
  2. Turn left off Exit #76B ramp onto Leigh Street
  3. Drive to 1st traffic light and turn right onto Belvidere Street (US#1 & #301)
  4. Turn right at the 6th traffic light onto Main Street
  5. Drive 2 blocks and turn left onto Laurel Street and entrance to VCU Parking Deck

Arriving by I-95 North-coming from Petersburg, North Carolina, etc.:

  1. Take Exit #74A onto Downtown Expressway, I-195 (The exit ramp is actually on the James River Bridge).
  2. Drive 1/2 mile, take exit for Belvidere Street (US #1 & #301)
  3. Drive 2 blocks along Canal Street to Belvidere Street
  4. Cross Belvidere Street and to 3 blocks along Cumberland Street (extension of Canal Street)
  5. Turn right onto Cherry Street
  6. Drive 2 blocks to VCU Parking Deck

Arriving by I-64 East-coming fro Charlottesville, I-81, etc.:

  1. Take Exit for I-95 South and I-64 East
  2. Take Exit #76B for Belvidere Street (US #1 & #301)
  3. Turn left of Exit #76B ramp onto Leigh Street
  4. Go to 1st traffic light and turn right onto Belvidere Street (US #1 & #301)
  5. Turn right at the 6th traffic light onto Main Street
  6. Drive 2 blocks and turn left onto Laurel Street and entrance to VCU Parking Deck

US Air
United Airlines
Limousine and cab service are available from the airport.



TRAIN
The Amtrak station on Staples Mill Road is on the main North-South route serving the East Coast.
