Dog's New Clothes can be a musical duo, trio, or full band - originally formed in 1988 to fill a gap in the children's entertainment scene. Since then, we have performed original songs like "Happy Pig Party," "Old Bart the Pirate," and "Fat Alice" for thousands of children at hundreds of shows, playing events ranging from the annual Earth Day celebration, to the Virginia Governor's Mansion, to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, to the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. We also provide the production music for public radio's Rocket Radio which airs Sunday evenings on WCVE FM (89.5 FM) in the Richmond area. Our newest recording Waiting for the Moon contains seventeen original songs and is available on CD or cassette tape from local Richmond musical outlets! Dog's New Clothes plays festivals, retail promotions, private parties, schools, libraries - almost any event - for larger events we can expand to a three or six piece lineup adding guitar, bass, drums, and percussion to our original duo sound for a bit more of a rockin' time.
