See I really like music!

I belong to the 100+ Grateful Dead concerts club and generally enjoy music of all types.

My Basses (Input)

I've played electric bass since 1975 - hence my adopted logo of an electric bass wound with computer networking cables. (I found the image in an issue of Oracle Magazine doing research for my first book.)

I attempt to wrestle with this six string fretless Abe Rivera stereo model that I bought over the internet. I also can't bear to part with two Rickenbacker 4001s - one is white just like the one that Roger Glover of Deep Purple played in 1976 - the year I bought it. The other bass is a deep-red, fretless version of the white one.

Electronics Customization

Anthony Huvard added some hot Bartolini pickups to the Abe Rivera and wired it in stereo.

Power (Process)

I make sounds with an
Alembic F-2B pre-amplifier and Mesa Boogie Simul-90 stereo amplifler.
