        Verse 1:

There once was a girl - a beautiful girl
Who was prized by the most handsome men
But all they could see - was her outward beauty
        And never the rainbow within
Well one day she said - "I wish I was dead
For all these men want is my body
Well I'll soon change that - and I'll make myself fat"
So she locked herself in the food pantry

        Chorus:

Oh look to the sky - that big blimp eating pie
        Is Fat Alice
She'll catch your eye - as she floats fatly by
        Oh fat Alice

        Verse :

She stayed there nine weeks - and never did she sleep
She just ate till she filled up the room
& when she finally stopped -the walls strained and popped
And Fat Alice fell out balloon
She rolled cross the lawn - down the street in the dawn
Past a policeman and into a store
Where she ate up the hams - the jellies and jams
Cleaned it out, and belched for some more.

        Chorus:

        Verse 3:

She rolled down a hill - growing even fatter still
As she swallowed three truckloads of food
She swallowed the pears - the plums and eclairs
And the drivers and their trucks taboo
She finally got so big - she dwarfed any pig
She couldn't stand on her two feet
So she fell on the ground - and she just rolled around
        Bulbously belching defeat

        Chorus:

        Verse 4:

"Oh what have I done - now I've become

Such a fat and gross bulby of blubber
Now no one will see - the beauty in me"
So she cried and she bounced just like rubber
She bounced on the ground - and back through the town
She bounced higher and higher into the sky
Till finally she found - she couldn't come down
And floated ever fatly on high
From that day to this -that fat bulbous miss
Hasn't been seen by a soul floating by
But legend has said - that reports from the dead
Say she's eating her pie in the sky

        Chorus: (repeat 2 times)
