Some of you are wondering what was the purpose of these collections of links - way back in the begining of the web (mine's been up since 1993) - before there was googe.com - we would put collections of links together to help ourselves navigate (this was before user-friendly bookmarking) and to help others find and contribute to centralized collections of information (this was before the wonderful search engine technology of today).
