School of Business - Deutsche Bank Scholarships

The VCU School of Business, in conjunction with Deutsche Bank and the Institute for Data Research, has awarded four graduate assistantships for the Fall and Spring semesters of the academic year 1999-2000.
The assistantships were awarded to four outstanding School of Business graduate students who will work in conjunction with designated, sponsoring School of Business professors studying topics related to organizational use of data as an asset.
The awardees are:

Supervising Faculty Member(s)/Graduate Assistant

Peter Aiken/Annette Spletter (MBA)

Ken Daniels/Teepakorn Chinupagunphong (MBA/General)

Peg Williams/Jianmin Li (MS/Information Systems)

Mike Pitts & Charles Byles/Yoshizumi Kimura (MBA/Finance)
The assistantships will provide partial tuition assistance for the academic year 1999-2000 with the stipulation that the recipients will sign up for a full-time class load to be taken in the VCU School of Business. (Assistantship winners may sign up for guided studies as part of the full-time load.)
In conjunction with specific course work, assistantship participants may be eligible for special consideration for the Deutsche Bank Intern Program during the next academic year.
Assistantship winners will be expected to work 20 hours/week on their research topics.
