CoC Enterprise Architecture Products

The two inter-related products of the enterprise architecture are:

  1. an overall vision of and structure for the organization's information system; and
  2. an IS strategy aimed at aligning the information system with the organizational strategy.

This combination includes a target information systems architecture for the enterprise, a prescribed framework for IS development, a transition plan to move from the current state of the information system to the target architecture, as well as the way in which existing information systems components are to be incorporated into the target architecture. Each of these deliverables must be developed against the background of organizational strategies, goals, functions, and processes.
