Methodology

The methodology the team uses focuses on the business needs of the client. A complete understanding of these Business Requirements drives the Business Model, which itself is made up of two primary components; the Data Model and the Process Model. These two models detail the organization from different technology independent perspectives. The Data and Process Models are not a physical or technology-oriented view of that information, they are communication tools for management, business users, and the team.

The Business Model results in a logical, business-oriented description of the information and processes required by the business. Part of the Business Model's purpose is to detail dependencies, and how change in one area impacts other areas. The completed Business Model is a tool for developing new procedures, guidelines and standards for the business.
